Day 1 : Arrival in Yangon and Yangon city exploration

We welcome you to the land of glittering pagodas. On our arrival, our friendly guide and driver will greet you at the airport and will drive to your hotel for check-in. On the way to the hotel, we will visit ChaukHtet Kyireclining Buddha and we will check-in at the hotel and we will take some time for refreshment. After refreshment, we will go to walk around Kandawgyi Park and take pictures ofKaraweik Hall and Shwedagon Pagodascenic view from afar and visit the Grand Shwedagon Pagoda in the evening for the most picturesque experience and transfer back to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will transfer to the airport to fly to Bagan. On arrival at Nyaung U airport, our guide will pick up with your name board and your journey begins with a visit to a local colorful market where you can learn the local life. Then, we will continue our journey with a visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction to Bagan’s rich history; we will visit nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings, the elegant Htilominlo temple. Then enjoy lunch at the restaurant and transfer to our hotel to reload. This afternoon begins with a visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece that is one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples. And then we will continue to visit Thatbyinnyu the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the Nyaung La Phet Hill. And back to your hotel.

Today, we will explore Bagan by E-bike and visit the rural village of Minnanthu, where you can see cotton weaving and harvesting the crops in their field. And we will visit Bagan famous temples such as Laymyathnar Monastery Complex, Phayathonsu, Nandamannya with mural painting from the 13th century. Then, have lunch at one of the local restaurants and back to the hotel for a break of a few hours to enjoy the swimming time at your hotel. Later this afternoon, our journey continues to Manuha Temple with huge Buddha images, Nanpaya built with the sandstone, GubyaukGyi temple (Myinkaba) where you can see a very colorful mural painting of Bagan period. If you prefer to visit Lacquerware workshops, our guide will assist you to bring a nice place. Then, in the evening, to catch the sunset, make your journey to jetty for a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River by boat. As we cruise down, we will observe the lifestyle of fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples. And return to your hotel and overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Bagan Jetty for an excursion boat on the Irrawaddy River to Pakokku which will take about 2 hours. Arrival to Pakkoku, we will go to Yazagyou to visit Pakhangyi Monastery, one of the oldest teak monasteries of the country. Then explore the quaint town of Pakkoku with an opportunity to see Thanakha Market and cheroot makers. Enjoy lunch and Dinner at a local decent restaurant. Check-in at hotel & accommodation in Monywa

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Thanbudhay Pagoda. The richly decorated central stupa has no less than 845 smaller stupas around it. Inside the Photo, you will see thousands of Buddha images decoration every wall, archway, and niche. The building in the compound has interesting jatakas relied and there a huge. Next, we will visit the world’s tallest standing Buddha and reclining Buddha nearby. Proceed to Bohdi-Tahtaung. Next, we will visit Pho Win Taung Caves (famous for its sandstone outcrop caves with numerous Buddha statues and mural paintings) and Shwe Ba Taung (where the caves and temples are carved out from the surrounding volcanic rocks). They are about 25 kilometers west of Monywa. Enjoy your adventure there then we will drive back to Monywa. Next, we will proceed to Mandalay for overnight. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Relax and overnight at Mandalay.

Today we’re going to learn more about Buddhism in Myanmar. So start sightseeing by visiting Mahar Gandar Yon Monastery – where one may observe the daily life of monks and novices studying Buddha’s scriptures. And we will drive to Ava (Innwa). We will take a public boat from the Myintnge River. On arrival, we will take the horse cart and visit Innwa tour highlights; 27-meter-high Masonry Watch Tower, Nan Myint (or) the ‘‘Leaning Tower of Innwa“, Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teak pillars and Mae Nu stucco monastery built in 1822AD. After it, we will proceed our way to Sagaing where we will visit Sagaing Hill, U Min Thonze Caves, and Swan Oo Ponyashin Pagoda. Drive to Amarapura to enjoy Sunset at U Bein Bridge, made of teak logs and planks over 200 years ago by then-Mayor U Bein. Back to Mandalay and transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Mingun (Just 12km on the west bank upstream from Mandalay). The wild west of Mandalay sight lists includes Settawya Paya (the valued shrine with a footprint of the Buddha), Mingun Pahtotawgyi (one of the world’s largest chides built by King BodawPaya), Mingun Bell (the World-renowned ringing, 90tons weight), and Hsinbyume Paya (a representation of the Sulamani Paya) which stands at top of Mt. Meru. We can collect the historical data and epic photos and return to Mandalay. After lunch, we will continue our visit Maha Muni Pagoda, famous for its life-like Buddha image. Next, we will visit Ku Tho Daw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book; Golden Monastery which is famous for its wood carving. At the end of the tour, we will explore the major destination, Mandalay Hill, and take a glance from the hill and enjoy the panoramic sunset view of Mandalay. Later, we will transfer to our hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave Mandalay and fly to Heho. On arrival, we will proceed to Pindaya by car (about a 2-hr drive), on the way to enjoy the beautiful Shan mountain range and farms of locals and their daily routines. After lunch, visit Pindaya Caves; traditional cottage industry of Umbrella Making and the scenic lake. Then continue to NyaungShwe (Inle, about a 2:30-hr drive). On arrival, transfer to hotel and evening at leisure.

Today, we will start at Inle Lake sightseeing. After breakfast at the hotel, we will walk to jetty and start Inle Lake sightseeing including Floating Islands, HeyaYwama Village, PhaungDawOoPhaya, and the unique leg-rowers and their traditional fishing style and we will visit local small cottage-like Silver Smith, weaving and Long-necked Padaung women and their culture and lifestyle. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant for Inthar style meals. Continue our journey to Indein village, on the way, be ready your camera to catch the most beautiful scenic view of Lake and we will visit around Indein villages and the ancient ShweIndein pagoda and back to Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the airport to fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival, we will depart to Bangkok by the connecting flight. On arrival at the Bangkok Airport, our friendly driver will wait for you by holding the name board, warmly welcome and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will explore a dazzling complex of temples, palaces, and gardens as we head to Bangkok’s Grand Palace which is located in the heart of Bangkok and Emerald Garden where we can see the largest collection of Buddha images and should not be missed to visit. Then, we will head to Wat Pho, also called Wat Po, a Buddhist temple, is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The temple makes you feel at peace and that everything else could stop for a while as you pray. The beautiful and splendid architecture just leaves you awestruck. Then, proceed to the Wat Arun, a must-visit temple, is encrusted with colorful porcelain. We can try Thai Traditional Costumes at these temples and it’s worth trying to get a fantastic photo with breathtaking background. And we will get back to the hotel and stay overnight at a hotel in Bangkok.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out from the hotel and depart to Ayuttaya by car. It takes (1:30 hours’ drive) from Bangkok to Ayuttaya, the ancient Thai capital to explore the best tourist sites. Then, we will visit Bang Pa in the Summer Palace which is a palace complex formerly used by the Thai kings. Then, proceed to Wat Phanan Choeng, a famous temple with a gigantic Buddha figure, popular as a tourist attraction and worth to visit. It combines Thai and Chinese architecture which is quite fascinating and we can also feed the fish. Then, we will visit Wat Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit, the Buddha of the Holy and Supremely Auspicious Reverence, and this modern temple is best known for its massive, gilded statue of the sitting Buddha and interesting history. After that, we will go to the Wat Phra Si Sanphet where we can see historic old buildings and ruins that are systematically restored. Later, we will proceed to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and proceed to visit Sukhothai Historical Park. We can feel a tranquil and calm atmosphere offering beautiful scenery where we can explore the gorgeous architecture. And we will visit Ramkhamhaeng National Museum is a small size museum, though informative and interesting displaying art, artifacts & antiques from the centuries-old Sukhhothai period. It also has an outdoor display of ancient sculptures in the garden.  It also houses many artifacts from archaeological sites around the area. Then, we will proceed to hotel for check-in and stay overnight in Sukhhothai.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out. Then, proceed back to Bangkok for your departure flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, welcome by our friendly driver then transfers to the hotel.

Tour guide picks up to visit “Angkor Wat” is the 7th Wonders’ of the World and the world’s largest temple with an excellent masterpiece of carvings, sculptures, and perfect structure. It is also one of the largest religious monuments in the world.  The afternoon continues visiting Angkor Thom City Complex which includes: Bayon Temple (giant Buddhist face temple) is the second main temple of Cambodia after Angkor Wat. Bayon has become one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art and architecture.  Next will explore Ta Prom Temple is another fabulous temple covered by dense tropical forest. Its state of ruin is a state of beauty, which is investigated with delight and left with regret. Ta Prohm is also a place where famous Hollywood movie Tomb Raider Movie starred by Angelina Jolie was filmed. The last one enjoys watching a nice sunset (base on nice weather) at Pre Rub Temple.

Tour guide picks up to visit Banteay Srei Temple this 10th-century temple is very beautiful and attractive to its intricacy carvings &mythical creature which represents the Hindu God Siva & Uma. Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. Then visit Preah Khan Temple is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. This temple is flat in design, with a basic plan of successive rectangular galleries around a Buddhist sanctuary complicated by Hindu satellite temples and numerous later additions. The afternoon continues visiting Rolous Groups Temple (Lolei, Preah Ko, Bakong). The last temple of today is Neak Pean Temple is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in JayatatakaBaray, which was associated with Preah Khan temple, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. Back to the hotel.

Tour guide picks up to visit Kompong Khleang is a massive floating community of Tonle Sap Lake which is approximately 50km from Siem Reap town. Visitors to Kampong Khleang during the dry season are universally awestruck by the forest of stilted houses rising to 10 meters in the air. In the wet season, the water rises to one or two meters of the buildings. Embark on a wooden boat to ride to see the unique way of authentic Cambodian floating village looks like. (Note: Dry season, boats cannot get all the way to the main villages because the water level may be too low for a visit by boat; however, the village can be visited by car).

After finish Tonle Sap Tour, continue the journey by private transfer with tour guide accompany to Phnom Penh City (approx. 5h drive).  En-route you will see the beautiful scenery of Cambodia countryside and see vendors sell eatable Fried Spider and other kinds of eatable Insects at the halfway stop known for local people as SKON area.

Upon arrival Phnom Penh, direct to the hotel.

Tour guide picks up from hotel to visit Royal Palace was built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town. Now it is the resident of the King and Royal family. Visit Silver Pagoda is located within the grounds of the Royal Palace; the Silver Pagoda is named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th-century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. Visit Central Market is a large market supervised by a French architects. Free your time selecting souvenirs for your beloved one and testing many varieties of local foods. Afternoon transfer to visit Killing Field is the site of a former orchard and mass grave of victims of the Khmer Rouge – killed between 1975 and 1979 – about 17Km south of Phnom Penh. It is the best-known of the sites known as The Killing Fields, where the Khmer Rouge regime executed over one million people between 1975 and 1979.
To continue the story will visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum the site is a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. Toul Sleng means “Hill of the Poisonous Trees”. Back hotel and free your own program. Stay overnight in the hotel.
